I cannot emphasize this word enough, “backup”. If you have just rooted your LG G5, the first thing you should do is make a backup. In fact, make a backup of everything before even rooting, backup all your personal files, photos, videos, etc…etc… If you absolutely have no need because you have nothing important on your phone, did you know you should still backup your stock firmware?

Many of you may have a lot of questions on why anyone would want to root their LG G5. This article shold help those of you who cannot find a good reason to root their phone.
First off, what does root mean? Rooting LG G5 will basically give the user full admin access to it, just like running software using admin access on your computer. For those of you who want to root your T-Mobile LG G5 H830, here’s a step-by-step tutorial on how to do it. You will need a Windows computer for this root method.
Step 1. Go into Settings->About phone->Software info and tap on the “Build number” about 5 times until it says, “You are now a developer”.
